“You’re The Ocean was born out of the familiar place of deep reflection over pain and loss. Driving home late one night while the sky was pregnant with a storm, this song washed over me. Of all the songs I wrote, this one begged to be produced first. You’re The Ocean is a dear remembrance of letting go and moving forward. It’s about being cleansed of the burdens holding us back, but finding value in their experience. It’s knowing that there will be storms, and loving in the midst of them.”
